Our holidays proposal is for the region
between the mountains Rila and Pirin, south-west Bulgaria.
Rila is the highest mountain in the Balkan peninsula,
highest peak is called Musala (2925 m).
Pirin is the largest National Park in Bulgaria (264 798 ha)
and its highest peak is called Vihren (2914 m).
The small town of Bansko » (925 m)
is located at the foot of Pirin.
North Pirin has a typical Alpine relief,
there are two peaks over 2900 m high
and 79 more over 2500 m.
This is one of the reasons why Pirin is an interesting place
not only for ski-holidays, but also for beautiful
hiking during the warmer seasons.
